ISBA High School Mock Trial Event - 3/14 & 3/15

You are invited to attend the 2026 ISBA High School Mock Trial Invitational, which will be Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield. This event is a great opportunity for the legal profession to share a positive view of lawyers and the legal system with the public and to encourage these amazing young people to consider careers in the legal field. The Invitational is typically attended by over 50 Illinois schools.
 
We need folks like you to be presiding judges, jurors, and bailiffs to help this event run smoothly. You do not have to be a litigator or a member of the ISBA, and the juror and bailiff roles can be filled by law students, paralegals, college students (as bailiffs) and others. In addition to helping the kids, it’s a chance to meet other lawyers, judges and other great people from around the state and it’s fun! (There is also free lunch and excellent coffee and sometimes homemade cookies…)
