Nick has significant experience in both the legal and business arenas.  He has conducted more than 100 hearings in front of Illinois State Agencies, and multiple jury and bench trials.  As the CEO and General Counsel of two national healthcare companies, he has led over 100 healthcare M&A transactions totaling approximately $700 Million in value.  Nick has successfully represented clients in high stakes enforcement action litigation against Attorneys General in multiple states, as well as a successful civil antitrust action against a national insurance company.  He was honored as a Finalist for Ernst & Young's highly prestigious "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" in 2021 for his successes in business leadership during the initial Covid outbreak.
 
Nick was an inaugural member of both the Civic Memorial High School Ice Hockey Team and the Southern Illinois University Cougars Ice Hockey Team.  He received a private scholarship to play ice hockey at SIUE due to a combination of strong academics, sportsmanship, and competitive play in high school.  He coaches youth ice hockey, soccer, and baseball in Springfield, and plays in the Springfield Men's Ice Hockey League.
